Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Social Wizard ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes information when we use Social Wizard to manage Facebook Pages that we own and administer. It also explains the choices and rights available to you.

1. Scope

Social Wizard is an internal tool. It is used only by its operator and authorized administrators to manage Facebook Pages that the operator owns or administers. It is not offered to the public, and members of the public cannot sign up for or log in to it.

This policy applies to information that Social Wizard accesses through the Meta Platform (including the Facebook Graph API) and to information you send us directly, for example by email. Your use of Facebook itself is governed by Meta's own terms and privacy policy.

2. Information we process

We only access information that the Meta Platform makes available for the permissions granted to Social Wizard by an authorized Page administrator.

Page insights are aggregated statistics. They do not identify individual people.

3. Information we do not collect

Facebook passwords or login credentials.
Private messages or Messenger conversations.
Friends lists, private profile information, or content from personal profiles.
Payment card or bank information.

4. How we use information

To create, schedule, and publish content on Pages we administer.
To read, reply to, hide, or remove comments on our Pages, and to enforce our community standards.
To measure and improve the performance of our content using aggregated insights.
To maintain the security and reliability of Social Wizard.
To respond to your questions and requests, including data deletion requests.
To comply with legal obligations and with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

We do not use data obtained through the Meta Platform for advertising targeting, profiling of individuals, or any purpose unrelated to managing our own Pages.

5. Legal bases

Where data protection law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on:

Legitimate interests: managing and moderating our own Pages and understanding how our content performs.
Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose information to comply with the law.
Consent: where you choose to contact us or where consent is otherwise required.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We share information only as follows:

Service providers: trusted providers of hosting, data storage, and workflow infrastructure that process data on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations and only as needed to operate Social Wizard.
Meta: content, replies, and moderation actions are sent to Meta to be carried out on our Pages.
Legal requirements: where required by law, regulation, legal process, or an enforceable government request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of us or others.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

7. Retention

Access tokens are kept only while Social Wizard is connected to our Pages, and are deleted when access is revoked or expires.
Comment data is kept only as long as needed for moderation and engagement. It is deleted when the comment is removed on Facebook, or on request.
Aggregated insights are kept as long as they are useful for performance analysis, and are reviewed and deleted periodically.
Correspondence is kept as long as needed to resolve your request and meet legal obligations.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. These include encryption in transit, restricting access to authorized administrators, protecting access tokens, and granting only the permissions Social Wizard needs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect the information we hold.

9. International transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise these rights, email support@social.qualitent.com. We will respond within 30 days.

11. Data deletion

You can ask us to delete any data we hold about you, such as comments you left on our Pages. Full instructions are on our Data Deletion page.

12. Children

Social Wizard is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we hold data about a child, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
